The Trials of Galileo comes to London!

After much anticipation, Icarus have finally managed to bring The Trials of Galileo to London for a short run, 8th – 14th February.
Book now before this opportunity passes you by!

As you may be aware, this is a truly unusual and remarkable collaboration: our star, Tim Hardy, was my former professor 15 years ago. We’ve kept in touch and after Tim toured the show on his own for six years, he approached me to take over.

Since then, we’ve been to Spain, Malta, America, and across the UK & Ireland.

About the show:

“The Universe is a divine miracle Galileo, not a clockwork toy! ‘Proof’ denies faith, and without faith we are nothing."

In this reprimand of Pope Urban is contained Galileo's tragedy – a mistaken belief that all he had to do was show the church his reasoning and the church would fall in behind him. He understood the science better than any man alive, but never grasped the politics. Until it was too late.
