Sound Designer wanted:
We are looking for a highly professional sound designer for our upcoming production of Journey's End. For more information, please click here.
See it in London now! Performing 6th-8th November.
We are half way through our Othello tour, and having traveled all over the UK we now have some fantastic reviews for the production.
Four Stars, Neil McEwan, The Scotsman
‘… this stunning production was enhanced by the cast’s use of a string quartet, bringing a new depth of emotion to the story of a noble man’s descent.’ Alice Williams, The York Press
‘…the strings catch the musicality of the text, although not every time an actor speaks. Turmoil and anxiety are heightened, passion brushed and coloured with a moment of melody. Then, when there is heightened dramatic tension, the instruments strike emphatic chords.’ Kevin Berry, The Stage

How do you convince a man to murder his own wife?
In 16th century Venice, a military ensign passed over for promotion and consumed with jealously plots the overthrow of his noble general, the mighty Othello.
The show features a live sextet of violinists, violists, and cellists and some superb performances as these actor-musicians light up the stage.
Don't miss your chance to see the show now! Visit www.icarustheatre.co.uk/shows/othello.html for cast lists, more info, or to book tickets.
If you intend to see it in London, BOOK NOW! We only have three performances in the big city and will no doubt sell out quickly.
The educational portion of the tour is also proceeding well - we have really enjoyed working with over 200 pupils and have more workshops booked throughout the tour.
Thanks are due to our wonderful and talented team of workshop leaders, who have researched and written plans for workshops, prepared resources, travelled all over the country, and led the workshops with groups ranging in age from 12 to 18.
We are in the planning stages of developing workshops for "Journey's End" as well - if any of you know a teacher who might be interested, please contact us with their phone number and we'll give them a call.
To find out about booking workshops for your own school, click here or reply with the phone number of a teacher who may be interested.
