After much anticipation and buckets of really hard work, The Lesson opens Thursday in the beautiful South Hill Park Arts Centre. Please join us at the preview on 12 April at 6.30pm.

Opening Thursday!

The Lesson
by Eugène Ionesco

A light, classroom farce and charged political play.

We've now confirmed 56 performances across the country and are very optimistic about going to Edinburgh, which would bring the total number of performances to a whopping EIGHTY!

We open THIS THURSDAY at 6.30pm in Bracknell (1 hour from Waterloo) at the gorgeous South Hill Park Arts Centre. It's a preview, in their studio before the tour starts proper, so tickets are FREE. Just call the box office on 01344 484 123. Tell 'em Max sent you. If that doesn't work (ticketing is strange for a preview), drop me an email or just turn up on the night.

So You Wanna be a Theatre Producer???

Are you hungry, brave, and passionate about drama?

Do you want to find out if you have what it takes to become a brilliant Producer but don't know where to begin?

Icarus is looking for additional production staff to take The Lesson forward over the next six months and engage with us on a number of other plays and projects.

THIS IS A TRANING PROGRAMME! WE CAN GIVE YOU THE SKILLS YOU NEED!

The one thing we CAN'T give you is a sharp wit and initiative. Both are vital. Bring them yourself.

When launching this programme back in October, we achieved fantastic success and now have a number of wonderful Producers, Associates, and Assistants. We won't placate you; we intend to find out if you've got what it takes and weed out those who don't through hands-on experience.
