We're pleased to successfully bring to a close the first season of one of the most artistically rewarding and well-received plays that Icarus has ever embarked upon!!!

Our last performance of The Lesson in this season is this Wednesday at the no doubt wonderful Kenneth Moore Theatre in Ilford, near Barking (that's WEST, inside the North Circular!).

We've now confirmed 78 performances across the country including FOUR WEEKS at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh! (Hill Street Theatre, 7pm slot)

To see our last performance this SPRING, Liverpool street station has trains every 15 minutes to Ilford which are a 15 minute journey (I recommend the 6.42pm train). The KENNETH MOORE THEATRE is around 5 - 10 minutes walk from Ilford Station and the show starts at 7.30pm.

The Kenneth Moore Theatre is out the station and SOUTH across STATION ROAD. From the RAC map it looks like you take your next LEFT onto a one way road (you will be walking AGAINST traffic) which becomes the HIGH STREET (probably pedestrianized) after about 75 meters. Carry on down the High Street another 150 meters or so and turn RIGHT onto OAKFIELD ROAD. After 50 meters turn LEFT onto KENNETH MOORE ROAD. The theatre appears to be on your RIGHT after 50 meters and a sharp bend in the road.

Future Planning

War Baby
by and starring Carol Cleveland

A riveting love story adapted from the war diaries of Carol's parents, written during the backdrop of World War II.

This gripping tale with rich musical element explores love won, love lost, and Carol's humble beginnings in the turmoil surrounding the War.

Icarus is associate producer for a performance at the 2007 Brighton Fringe Festival and will be developing this project with the London Pleasance Theatre in late 2007 and the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe.

Albert's Boy

A blackly humorous and achingly moving new play.

Originally produced in 2005 with Concordance and the Finborough Theatre, we are hoping to re-mount his production as part of a festival another company is producing and our own small and mid-scale tour.
