Follow Melchior as he battles through purgatory and faces the ghosts of his past.

Here’s Our Recent Blog Post!
A day in the life of an Icarus Intern, by Chloe Sternlicht
Recently, I spent a day with the cast on tour and assisted with one of our corresponding education workshops. I was really excited and unsure about what to expect when I arrived. I had helped the cast out at different venues before, but this was my first education workshop!
I hopped on a train, and made my way to Peterborough to begin my day. As soon as I arrived, I set off with two cast members, Nikki and Gemma, to visit a school in Northampton. It was a wonderful and unique experience for me, and it was great to see that the students were so eager to learn. They were more than willing to join in with the practical excercises and confidently acted out scenes from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream alongside our actors. Within the hour and a half we were able to shed light on new themes and ideas that the students hadn't explored before.
Happy with the success of the workshop, we made our way back to the Key Theatre for an evening performance of Spring Awakening. I was able to help out backstage before the show, and see what life is like behind the curtain. When it came time for the doors to open, I made my way into the auditorium and watched the performance with pure delight! The show went very smoothly and afterwards I loved hearing the buzzing crowd complimenting different parts of the show. It was an absolute joy to experience life of tour and get a glimpse of a day in the life of an Icarus actor.
